Gary T. Giacomini, Esq., Board Chair, Audit Committee Chair: Partner of Hanson, Bridgett, Marcus, Vlahos & Rudy, LLC in San Francisco. Retired from the Marin County Board of Supervisors after serving for 24 years.
Joe Burgess: Attorney with 35 years experience; currently working for BMR Legal. Previously served as general counsel to Dominican University of California and Golden Gate University. Member of the USF Law Review and McAuliffe Law Honor Society. He is an avid sailor, scuba diver, and white water enthusiast.
Marty Cepkauskas: Director of Real Estate for the Western Properties Division of the Hearst Corporation. Serves on Board of Directors of San Francisco Museum and Historical Society. Graduate of University of California, Berkeley and Saint Mary's College, Moraga, CA.
Dave Clerici, Audit Committee: Chief Financial Officer of the College Preparatory School in Oakland, CA. Former CFO for ALC. Former Director of Finance for Habitat for Humanity and the Transportation Authority of Alameda County. Clerici has extensive financial experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors, including work in human resources and information technology.
Hilary Jensen: Internet product marketer with extensive experience in consumer Internet and technology products. Former manager at Google, former VP for product marketing and management for Earthlink and PeoplePC. Jensen is a graduate of Stanford University and the Harvard Business School. A California native, she is a self-proclaimed "extreme sports junkie" with a passion for travel and the outdoors.
Keith Lenard, Development Committee Chair: Partner at Hall and Hall, Inc, specializing in the sale of investment-grade conservation properties. Former Director of ALC's American Landscapes Program; also served as Director of Land Conservation for The Nature Conservancy in Wyoming, Director of Lands for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Executive Director for both the Palos Verdes Land Conservancy and The Access Fund.
Robert Stephens, Vice Chair: Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management and Sustainability, California Environmental Protection Agency. Internationally recognized expert in toxic waste disposal.
Lauren Ward: Retired real estate broker with over 20 years experience in land preservation. Ward worked on many of ALC's wetlands projects with AlC's founder, Harriet Burgess. He is a graduate of the Stanford Business School and a life member of the California Waterfowl Association.
