Kerry O'Toole, President
Kerry O’Toole was appointed President in 2008, providing oversight and guidance to ALC's staff and serving as a liaison with agency, landowner, nonprofit and community partners. Kerry joined ALC in 1999 as a project manager in California. In 2006, she became ALC’s first conservation director. Kerry is a third generation Californian and holds a BS in Geography from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Geography from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. kerry@alcnet.org 415-912-3665

Jim Dugdale | Accounting Manager. (bio coming shortly)
Jennifer Frazier | Jenny joined ALC in 2000. After graduating from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois with a BS in Biology and Chemistry, Jenny worked for 12 years for the U.S. Geological Survey on habitat enhancement and restoration projects along the Mississippi River. Currently she represents ALC on many task forces to establish public land and access along the Middle Mississippi River between St. Louis, Missouri and Cairo, Illinois. jenny@alcnet.org 573-866-9989
Julie Huddleston | Julie is one of the newest staff to join ALC, starting in 2010. Her previous experience includes working with other non-profits, supporting a team of executives and working with adults with disabilities. Julie has a BA in Child Development from San Francisco State University and has a passion for the outdoors, cooking, and all things crafty.
Leslie King | Leslie first joined ALC in 1990 as assistant to the president and office manager. She now works part time as the secretary to the board of directors and helps with special projects. Leslie graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Her love of the land comes from her mother's passion to instill in her children the value of nature and the responsibility to protect it.
Pat Ortmeyer | Pat joined ALC in October, 2007, bringing more than 20 years of fundraising and nonprofit experience. Previously she was Director of Grants Administration with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, raising and managing $2 million annually. Pat has also worked in Washington DC on nuclear nonproliferation and clean-up, and directed a national program on plutonium disposition. She has also worked with local and national hunger and social justice organizations. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana and loves hiking, cross-country skiing, and ice hockey.
Jessica Palmer | Jessica joined ALC's San Francisco staff in 2006. With a communications background, she is at the hub of ALC's communications department where she develops the visual collateral, assists with ALC’s Membership Program, and manages the ALC website. Originally from the East coast, Jessica moved to California several years ago and loves the natural beauty of the region. Jessica holds a BS in Communications from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
Tim Richardson | Tim joined ALC as a director of government affairs in 2006. He first worked with ALC in 1999 when he was executive director of the Kodiak Brown Bear Trust in Alaska. In 2001 Tim began consulting with ALC on projects to conserve habitats on Afognak Island in Alaska and on wetlands restoration on the Mississippi River. Tim co-edited Kodiak Bears & the Exxon Valdez, a book on the habitat restoration accomplished following the oil spill. Tim previously served as special assistant to former U.S. Senator Lloyd Bentsen. Elisa Royce | Elisa joined ALC in 2005 bringing to ALC her experience as a field biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at the Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge in Illinois and Missouri. She also has worked with nonprofit organizations including the Piasa Palisades Chapter of the Sierra Club in Illinois and the League to Save Lake Tahoe in California. Her work with ALC includes research, grant writing and providing support to ALC's Mississippi River Program. She graduated in 2005 with Master's in Environmental Science from Southern Illinois University. elisa@alcnet.org 618-467-2428
