ALC Partners
Collaboration is the hallmark of ALC’s success. Founded in 1990 as a niche land conservancy undertaking complex projects, ALC often took on projects too large for small land trusts and too high-risk for national land trusts. Today we continue to nurture relationships with organizations and individuals to achieve our collective conservation goals.
Federal and State Government Partners
ALC helps connect public natural resource agencies with on-the-ground land acquisition opportunities. We often hold options or title to land until a public agency is able to acquire the property interest.
Local Stakeholders
ALC’s work is guided by a strong respect for the private landowners we work with and the local communities in which we operate.
Non-Governmental Organizations
ALC serves as a resource for conservation real estate transactions for partners ranging from local land trusts to national membership organizations.
Native Communities and Corporations
ALC partners with native communities and corporations to help them conserve and manage their natural resources.
Philanthropic Partners
ALC gratefully acknowledges our philanthropic partners for their continued funding, program support and visionary guidance.
Private Industry
ALC envisions a balance between ecology and economy. We work with the business community to find common ground and pursue mutual wildlife and land conservation goals.
