Increasing Access to the North Coast

ALC worked with the Coastal Conservancy and local land trusts to open lands along the scenic Mendocino coast to public use. By moving quickly, ALC was able to assume 49 expiring permits granting easements for public access, which ALC later transferred to the Mendocino Land Trust and the Moat Creek Managing Authority. As a result, there is a new public trail at Belinda Point. Others are in the works.
