Sell or Donate Land

Make a difference for future generations Protect

Do you own property that contains resources that you would like to see protected? Do you want to sell or donate property that you believe has conservation value? Contact ALC and tell us about your property, we may be able to help. Depending on a property’s location and natural characteristics, ALC may be able to purchase your property and sell it to a public agency for protection in perpetuity. If you need to sell your property but don’t want to see it developed, we may be an alternative. Thanks to willing landowners, local, state and national land trusts conserved 37 million acres in just the last five years. Still, each year, America loses 2 million acres of farms, forests and open spaces as it is converted to shopping malls, subdivisions and highways. Keeping our most valuable landscapes intact will protect water and air quality, agricultural resources, open space, plant and wildlife habitat, outdoor recreation opportunities, and contribute to a better quality of life in our communities. Help us make sure the very best landscapes are not lost forever.
